As you consider a wide range of charitable opportunities, we invite you to join us in empowering adults with disabilities and bringing hope to our disenfranchised neighbors. Your generous contribution will assure that those who were languishing in isolation will create, exhibit, develop relationships, and earn money for the first time in their lives. Arts Unbound is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Consider sending a check to:
$20 – Purchase a class in the visual arts for a student with disabilities $200 – Sponsor one student for 10 classes in the visual arts $500 – Purchase art supplies for 10 group classes in the visual arts $1000 – Sponsor an exhibit in the Arts Unbound Gallery including an opening reception $2,000 – Purchase 10 group classes (or a series) in the visual arts for students with disabilities
$5,000 – Underwrite a series of
events in the Arts Unbound Gallery
Arts Unbound
is always looking for qualified art instructors.
If you are a professional artist with teaching experience
and/or an art teacher please contact us.
We will ask for your resume, examples of your work and
experience and will then arrange to meet with you for an
interview. If there
is mutual interest we will ask that you audit an Arts Unbound
class and then teach a class under supervision by one of our Art
Coordinators. All
instructors are hired part time as independent consultants on an
as needed basis, are required to sign an instructors agreement
with Arts Unbound and receive a criminal background check.
The Arts Unbound mission spans several areas of interest including the arts, neighborhood
revitalization, and the needs of the disabled. Our success is a tribute to the efforts and enthusiasm of our many fine volunteers.
