Stan has lived in South Orange, NJ his whole life. His greatest passions are the times that he spends outside with animals and nature, which are the main focus of his art, be it drawings, painting, sculpture or photography. Woodworking is his favorite medium, creating models and objects reminiscent of childhood experiences.
Recently, Stan created a line of "Winarsky Bears". No two are alike, and many have themed costumes and accessories. The bears have captured the hearts of those who appreciate their "anti-Hallmark" quality. Currently, writers from around the country are writing stories about each bear. The bears, with their accompanying stories will be available at future fundraising auction events.
Although Stan has learning disabilities, he is the most passionate and productive of all the clients participating in the Arts Unbound programs. He is continuously scanning the horizon for recyclable materials to incorporate into assemblages and fine art sculptures. He works independently on his own time, applying techniques learned in Arts Unbound classes.
